New Baby and Other Things

So its been a while...

Well most of my time is spent thinking about everything that needs doing and failing miserably in actually getting anything done...

But at least I can blame it on being pregnant...Yep no 3 will be on its way in August and considering I'm now 24/25 weeks gone there's still no letter for a potential scan. I'm dragging my heels in regards to phoning them to book an appointment myself because I really want to know what it will be this time around, then I can get rid of a LOT of baby clothes. (Although my sisters friend thought she was having a girl and now she's had it and named it Albert I think someone got it wrong somewhere there)

Oh it will be fun what with G turning 4 in June and Dub is 2 in July and then the new one in August... My sister joked that only 9 more (one for each month) and we'd have a full set...

We've also been waiting to get an appeal date for G to go to the school we want but not heard anything yet.

I am also trying to get my head round some knitting ideas I've had but not being very good at math its a bit of a nightmare.

I really want to find a flat cap knitting pattern but have no idea where to look.

And I really want to make a hat like this but I really don't want to have to felt it afterwards (because I am so very lazy)

I've been thinking about trying to figure out how to make a sweater I saw in a magazine too. Think I might do it on my huge needles then it won't take too long. Still haven't finished hubby's sweater vest or my jacket but it feels wrong to not have about 100 things on the go at once...

One thing I do wish is that I could find nice patterns that are in double knit wool which I have a giant box full in all shades and sizes instead of fancy types ...Oh well...

Thank you and Congratulations to you too!!
I know what you mean about the knitting I went crazy with legwarmers and now have one and a half done hehe. I don't think I'd manage a blanket feel daunted just by making a baby cardigan, which probably wouldn't be done in time either!

That style of hat is called "cloche" - I'm guessing you want to knit one? I googled that - and found this site - knitting pattern central. This link will take you to the "hat" page - scroll down till you get to "cloche". If you were referring to another way of making the hat, just google cloche hat pattern.

ahh I do love that knitting pattern central! and I never knew that, what a fancy name for a hat. I would love to make one but would need to buy a top loading washing machine to felt it after probably so I'll save my pennys and buy one on etsy probably....but thank you very much!!
